Bah! I had to post this quick before it became non-cannon or something since ~Valadilenne's last update on "Sunny Disposish." I worked on this a while ago... May, yeah... and kept picking at it... This is probably one of the more detailed painterly works you'll ever see. Although I hope not--I like to think I'm capable of great things if I had the patience and the time. Mostly the time, because screw the patience.
OH MY GOD though, everyone should read Sunny Disposish. And of course a tip of the hat to the fabulous co-creators of "When Curiosity Met Insanity," because I'm pretty sure this close-knit hatter(reg)/alice fan base would not exist without their charming comic.
It's funny and glorious to me how you managed to predict how them kissing would happen--with a few obvious differences, of course. But I like the way you've got the shadows going with the soft brushes and the colors. And pretty background! Your work continues to make me go
